The Academy range of high performance composite doors have been designed to stand the test of time. They combine security, insulation and the latest technology in manufacturing, with a finish that is indistinguishable from traditional timber.
All door cores are manufactured with the latest technology using thick GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) skins. Our composite doors have excellent thermal efficiency achieving a U-Value of 1.4 or better. Due to the structure and components of the door leaf, they have excellent acoustic properties. They are tested to the latest tough standards of PAS24.
Our composite doors come with options for the door handles, low aluminium thresholds and letterbox. These can be supplied in different styles and colours.
Unlimited Colour Options
Available in a range of standard external colours or choose from the extensive sprayed RAL range of custom colours. White is the standard interior colour but both sides can be coloured for an extra cost.
The door frame in white as standard. If you’d like different coloured door frame please talk to us, and we will be able to help.
Door Security
All our doors are fitted with ten point multipoint locks as standard. Our locks are widely regarded as the most secure in the market today. Anti Snap, Pick, Bump and Drill cylinders are available on request for a small additional charge. Burglars use multiple techniques to try and break in through a door, including snapping the cylinder or using an adapted key to bump the lock. Academy doors are designed to withstand the main methods of attack during a burglary.
Not only do our doors meet industry standards, but we also work closley with the police under the ‘Secure by Design’ scheme to make sure our customers enjoy the best possible protection and peace of mind.
